So i'm back from the Edinburgh Festival. I know i haven't posted in yonkies because i've been off from work for two weeks so i've been pretty busy. I went to Largs for a weekend with a few friends because one of my friends gran, has a caravan there. It was really nice and a lot of fun. We went to Mill port for the day, went to some good pubs, and just generally had a nice time :D. Pictures will be up on facebook soon probably if anyone is interested.

I also had a lovely week in Edinburgh. ( read on for festival,fun and fan meetings !!! :D )

okay so i finally got the dates of my holidays sorted out so i've planned my trip to the Edinburgh Festival with my friend. We know what we want to go and see, and have roughly arranged days etc for different performances. The ones that will be more popular, we're going to book this week, and the others we can get tickets there mostly. However, because i didn't know the dates until recently i can't find anywhere to stay :( :( :( :( it's really bringing me down because if i can't find anywhere to stay, i can't go :O *cries a little*. If anyone knows of any good websites, hostels, hotels, B&B's etc PLEASE let me know asap !

Other than that, life's pretty much the same old same old. Been working a lot as usual and my boss is just pure bitch more than ever. I told her that i'm going back to college and she offered me a Thursday nigt/Saturday job which is perfect - if it wasn't working next to her. The thought of it actually makes me depressed, and i'm not just saying that. My depression's been pretty good the past few months to be honest, but she's actually making me feel awful a lot and the though of a whole saturday, working literally right next to her, depresses me. So needless to say i'm looking for something else.

My dad took me out a wee drive the other night which was fun. We just practised things like clutch control, starting and stopping and changing gears etc but i feel a little more confident having done that now :D. W couldn't go out before because both my parents cars are automatic, but my dad got a little manual car while his is being fixed so that worked well for me :D.

Planning on going to Largs this weekend with my friends as my friends gran has a caravan there :) some of them are already there and on friday, my friend jenni and i plus the boys are driving to Largs to spend the weekend :D

The Weather has been just gorgeous today. Really nice and sunny and warm. I love it when it's like that. It makes me happier :D I just sat out in the back garden sunbathing with some ice cream and listening to Radio 1 (surprise surprise it's Live coverage from T). It's so wierd, everytime it's sunny i have one CD that i play all the time and it totally makes me feel summery (when there's shit music on the Radio :P) And it's Amy Winehouse's first album 'Frank'. I absolutely love it :D i love every single song and it reminds you just how talented she is and how good she was before all the drug stuff.
Oh and also, i was listening to Paulo Nutini's 'Candy'. I love that song and for some reason when i was listening to it, it made me think of the Doctor and Donna (how sad ?! i know :P) but just the words totally make me think of how their relationship is (more the romantic relationship that a lot of you lovely folk write in fics). Very romantic, sweet and lovely and so devoted to each other with that really cheeky element to it. Like "I'll do all this for you, be so romantic etc but you have to give up the good for me ;) " :P

So works been bloody hectic the past few days. We've had sales, deliveries, mark downs visits from the Area Manager and a lot of unruely costomers ! I've been doing 9.30 - 6 every day so i'm bloody shattered. My wee feet hurt like hell cause i'm basically standing up all day. Doesn't help that when i get home at half 7, i have to make dinner, do housework and stand up more for ironing !! :P But the house is tidy and my parents are back tomorrow so all is good.
Work been playing the same music every day and they keep playing Sophie Ellis Bexter 'Cath You' which is THE song that reminds me of Doctor/Donna :D There's a vid on youtube to it and the words just fit so perfectly so that makes me smile :P

I have been reading fics for ages and i still, shamefully, don't know what all the ratings mean, like 'G', 'R', etc. Can someone enlighten me ????

okay so i never really watched Doctor Who when Rose or Martha was in it, i mean i saw the odd episode but wasn't watching it every week. But i'm watching an episode on 'Watch TV' and i know it was Freema Agymen in it, but it was an adventure with the doctor and Rose (the one where the doctor, rose and jackie go to Torchwood with the cybermen etc). She was an alien and had a completely different name. Am i going mad ???

So Take That were uttly awesomely brilliant last night !!!!!!

I was working 9 to 2pm so i came straight home and got ready then my mum and i headed into town to meet her friend Margaret and my friend Rachael. We went for dinner at a lovely restaurant called La Vita and at out 6.30pm we headed to Hampden. Initial idea was to get the train but when we missed the first one i quickly pointed out that there was infact a mother of a queue for trains to Mount Florida. After following the queue down,round the corner,then out the door and half a mile down the bloody road we realised that's not gonna happen ! We found a bus that goes pretty near so we got on that and eventually at 7.30pm we were making our way there. Ended up at Hampden for about 5 to 8pm so i was just really glad we didn't miss anything. I was SO excited !!!!

It just hit me today, i'm totally suffering from Catherine Tate withdrawls. I really want her to do more theatre so i can go and see it and have an exuse to go to London for a week !!! Since she hasn't been in much for a while, i got that way where i am still madly obsessive :P but it was fading slightly. However, after watching some DW confidentials i need more CT !!!!

Well the other day what made me happy was coming home from work and going straight to a bloody brilliant party. it was a great night with the buddies and lots of random chats/dancing etc :D. The next day at work i was extremely hung over (and a tad drunk still if i'm honest :P) but i came home, had a relaxing day then had alovely wee night in at Tanya's with afew buddies and a curry :D Saturday night was lovely too. I went to a 42nd street reunion and Lisa-joy's and it was so good seeing people.

What made me happy today has been the beautiful sunny weather of today and yesterday. Lovely and warm and i sat out with my friend Lisa on Sunday for ages just lounging :)

Anyway, i'll try and keep up with this over the next few days :P
